At the beginning of June 2023, the Lower House passed a bill making it possible to incorporate a BV digitally. The proposal now goes to the Senate.
Incorporating a BV currently has to be done at the notary. With the new bill, this can be done more easily online through digital identification and signature.
The bill is expected to enter into force on 1 January 2024. However, this will require approval from the Senate first.
