Moniek works as a lawyer within the Labour Law department. She practices both labour law and employment law. Together with the senior staff members within the department, Moniek works on the preparation and execution of judicial activities, including advising on dismissal cases, (collective) employment conditions, transfer of undertaking, employee participation, (sickness) absence, and social security.
Before joining the company, Moniek worked for a large consultancy organisation in Amsterdam, where she gained broad experience in guiding organisations through optimisation and reorganisation processes. She also has extensive experience in giving practice-based workshops and presentations. This sharing of knowledge with clients and business relations is one of Moniek’s spearheads, which she also puts to use and develops within our firm.
Moniek is a strategic consulting partner within the whole (legal) HR domain. This includes extensive experience in individual dismissal cases, reorganisations and absenteeism records.
She mainly assists employers and/or executives, and as such often provides advice to the entrepreneur, the management team and/or the HR manager.

Moniek helps companies with human resources management. She has extensive experience in advising on and litigating individual dismissal issues, absenteeism records, and non-compete and non-dealing clauses. Moniek also assists companies with reorganisations and employee participation processes.

In addition to advising and litigating, Moniek often assists clients with negotiations and/or mediation. Moniek also has experience in (appeal) procedures at the UWV and the labour inspectorate. Whatever the (legal) route, Moniek always strives to achieve the best result for her clients.
