What experience is brought?

Fleur has a broad legal base and solid litigation experience. Fleur is good at analysing complex files and has focused on contract law, tenancy law and IT law since 2000. She specialised in corporate law in 2007, followed by a deepening in IT law and privacy law in 2017.

Fleur worked for several years as an in-house lawyer at a medium-sized accountancy firm, where she worked closely with multidisciplinary specialists. She advised directors, shareholders and entrepreneurs on a variety of legal questions in the field of corporate law, privacy, tenancy law, IT law and IP issues.

Fleur combines this solid legal foundation, extensive litigation experience and in-depth expertise with an energetic solution-oriented approach. At Marxman, she continues to build on her expertise in Intellectual Property Law.

Fleur is part of the Commercial Contracts team, with a focus on Contract Law, IT, IP & Privacy, and because of her experience of the Litigation team. Fleur can additionally be found with the Consulegis IT & Data Protection Group and the IP Group. She is also involved as a patron in the (internal) training of two trainees.

Fleur attended several postgraduate specialisation courses, including the Mr S.K. Martens Academy (2025/2026, ongoing), the Collegereeks Business Administration for Lawyers at Nyenrode (2021) and the courses in Information Technology Law (VIRA/Grotius, 2016/2017), Company and Business Law (Grotius, 2006/2007) and Postgraduate Contract Law Buying, Renting and Construction Law at the EUR (2005).

Fleur is also a member of the NVvIR (Dutch Association for Information Technology and Law) and the NVvP (Dutch Association for Procedural Law).

Areas of law

Fleur has registered the following main areas of law in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Dutch Bar Association: Contract Law and Intellectual Property Law. Pursuant to this registration, she is obliged to obtain ten training points in each registered main area of law each calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
