Online marketer Jessica Henneman recently took a stake in Amersfoort-based company Young Law and will join the board of the online legal services provider as COO. With her experience and knowledge of online marketing and strategy, she will ensure its further development and growth.
Founded in 2016, Young Law is a pioneer in providing low-threshold online legal services to small businesses and the self-employed at highly competitive prices. Young Law was founded at the time by two law students Noah Graves and Arthur Röell together with the managing partners of Marxman Advocaten, Bas Besseling and Sebastiaan Palm.
At the time, Marxman Advocaten noted that legal services for small businesses and the self-employed were in need of renewal. In particular, this target group's need for affordable and simple standard legal documents was not being met. Together with Noah Graves and Arthur Röell, this led to a business model based on standardisation and far-reaching automation of legal services.
Young Law provides up-to-date understandable legal documentation for entrepreneurs. To serve the entire market, Young Law works with different labels, namely; Young Law, General Terms and Conditions Making and YL Friendships. For all labels of Young Law, there is a close cooperation with Marxman lawyers as knowledge partner to ensure the quality of services.
By using its various labels, Young Law offers legal documentation for every entrepreneur, which suits their needs and wishes.
The focus in the coming period will be on growth and further professionalisation. Jessica Henneman sees great potential in the further expansion of YL Friendships. Reseller relationships, such as industry associations, accountancy firms, as well as legal aid providers, will have online access to a package of legal documentation that suits their needs. The innovative contract generator is part of this. Many service providers receive requests from clients for standard legal documents, while they cannot provide these themselves. With outsourcing via YL Friendships, this need can be fully met.
Noah Graves and Arthur Roell make way for Jessica Henneman. As (co-)founders, they were the face of Young Law. They will remain involved in an advisory role. The new board sees great potential in the company and is committed to rapid growth and further professionalisation in the coming years.
